WHO IS JAMES APPLETON, ANYWAY?

My name is James Appleton,
Co-Founder of Absolute Aid,
and creator of the

SEEK TO DO MORE Program.

Over the last decade I transformed my life by doing the work.

I consistently sought to do more to get the most out of myself.  

Oh, and I refused to ever quit.
That’s an important part of the equation.

Over that time, I’ve built the foundation and acquired the “tools” (habits) necessary for constant growth.
The daily habits outlined in this very program, in fact.

Basically, I wanted to empower myself to "help myself"

...AND I DID.

The real lesson I learned and confirmed was that nobody can do the work for you.  

Nobody will hold you accountable.

YOU must do the work and hold yourself accountable to get where you want to be.

So, I decided to share my blueprint as a plan-of-action to help others get to the same place.

I want to build others up to become unstoppable in all their life's pursuits.

Because when you earn that unstoppable mindset through hard work and discipline,
nothing in
this world is out of reach for you anymore.

 

THAT'S A POWERFUL PLACE TO BE.

READ MY STORY

A decade ago, my wife and I had our first baby, a beautiful little girl.

At the time I was a boy in a man’s body. A textbook 28-year-old man-child.

I ate whatever, whenever, and as much as I wanted, and my t-shirt size showed it…

I rarely worked out and I didn’t have any active hobbies. Too bad playing a guitar doesn’t burn any calories…

Then one fateful December night, as my newborn daughter slept in a crib next to our bed, my wife asked me point blank,
So, what’s your end game here? We have a daughter now…” as she painfully pointed at my stomach…

OUCH

That stung, but It was time to grow up and get my act together for my family and myself.
 

Embarrassed, but fed up with myself, I rolled over, grabbed my phone, and texted a fitness friend of mine…


Hey brother...I need your help…

IT WAS ON

Cue the Rocky theme-song montage (and continue that montage every week for the next decade).

I began with small changes. I started with simple bodyweight exercises on my dining room floor along with a “meat and vegetables” dietary lifestyle.

I put in the hard work day after day even when I didn't feel like it because I sought change.

As time went those simple bodyweight programs progressed to competitive powerlifting, investing in a full garage-gym, a diet on point (most of the time, anyways), and almost 100lbs lost over the next 10 years.  

More than the lost pounds, I’m prouder of the fact that I have missed zero weeks of training over that decade.

CONSISTENCY IS KING

However, the physical transformation isn’t even half of the equation…

MY MENTAL TRANSFORMATION IS THE REAL STORY.

I developed a mindset that no longer runs from challenges, but instead faces them head on and wins.

The mindset one builds when you put in the work month after month, year after year,
and transform your life has a powerful effect on your mind.

IT'S UNMATCHED, AND IT'S EARNED.

I DID THIS AND SO CAN ANYBODY ELSE WHO MAKES THE CHOICE TO ELEVATE THEIR LIFE,
FOLLOWS A PLAN OF ACTION TO GET THERE, AND PUTS IN THE EFFORT.

 

A STRONG BODY BUILDS A STRONG MIND, AND A STRONG MIND BUILDS A STRONG LIFE.
